I also scratch by head when some people think it would be a great thing if a rock band celebrated 50 years together. Not sure if a rock band should be celebrating that.

What stupefies me most:

For a forum devoted to the Rolling Stones, the posts are very smart and people involved in this forum are not fanatic in the bad sense of the term. We all love the Rolling Stones but we all know that it is entertainment and fun.

I always say that my participation in this forum is a way for me to practise my english and that, surprisingly, the different discussions are very polite and smart. It is a forum where a majority of us are men interested in the Rolling Stones (sex, drugs and rokn'roll).. and we are always very smart, even when talking about women and sex (only credit cards become very hot when a new tour is announced).

I would say it is a forum where people are gentlemen with a reasonnable attitude with respect to the Stones. That's the reason why I read this forum and post a message from time to time.

I think younger women and girls have no use for the Stones, they are too old now to be teenage heart throbs, obviously.
