Had a hard time listening to ''Allready'' when it came out...still dont know what to think of it....whats your lowdown about this way to serious ballad? On the''you got the best of me'' boot one can hear the NYC 97 live version i didnt make me sick''ít grew on me! so if i give the tune a listen i always go for the msg vers.
Gunface is a song not very loved here i guess....i love it! like a scene out of the''hand of fate'' song....its so hardrocking and raw...this one is not being played live i think....i like it very much........ hand of fate

I like both of them a lot. Big fan of the album and of their studio output together and apart in the 1990s. Concert recordings were hit and miss. They lost their concert identity in the 1990s. It used to be each tour's sound was tied to the sound of the album. Since STEEL WHEELS, they became schizophrenic with studio Stones sounding very different from live Stones. All the tours just sort of blend and really sound interchangeable, sadly.

Two of my favorite tracks from what I consider a strong album. I'm a sucker for that opening on "Already Over Me"...the combination of Charlie coming in and Ronnie's Dobro guitar...yikes...good stuff. Keith's solo tops it all off. Fantastic atmosphere.

"Gunface" gets knocked pretty well here but I totally get the song. Loud and angry. I think it builds quite well with Ronnie's piercing slide guitar to climax the whole thing.

Great album.

i can see now that on this tour.....they gave the album a push..even do the lesser known tunes.....now and then....than came NS and licks.....what went wrong?
I mean they didnt gun face BTB in your face....but they did try...even try to do ''Might as well get''live!
The only ABB tour show that was workin the album was the switserland show....but many songs from abb we never heard live...they never got the chance to grow...whats the story behind this? ABB sounds empty sound wise...but live it would have been fun.....

AOM is quite good, imo. Some nice guitar and dobro playing. It starts out more promising than it ends, though.

Gunface is one of the weaker Stones tunes I've ever heard. All eras included.

B2B is a great angry record overall, guess all the tunes are about chicks, 'cept for FTS, but Keith's death row guy probably ended there cause of a chick so, yeah, 2 great tunes. Gunface is a KILLER in the gym as well!!

Already over me is a very moving song for me. The last lines 'What a fool I've been' send shivers down my spine and get me thinking of some stupid things I've done in the past. Needless to say I don't listen to it too often.

Gunface is a bit of fun. Not very tuneful but I wouldn't skip it.

These 2 songs are among my least favourites of Bridges To Babylon

"Allready over Me" is ballad by numbers, I think - just like "Out Of Tears". A boring radio friendly pop-ballad

"Gunface".....no swing or feel - don't think anybody in Rolling Stones liked playing this - apart from Jagger
Maybe that's the reason they never played it live. But one song they should have played live....."Too Tight" - that's a real good one

Gunface is not an angry song at all. The lyrics might be, but the music is debilitating, weak and unconvincing, imo. Everything, from Jagger's guitar sound to the melody, is contradicting the message of the song.

I like one thing, though, but that's a small part; the chord before each chorus

Allready Over Me makes Oout Of Tears sound like Wwild Horses.

AOM is one of my favorite Stones songs.

It didn't immediately stand out at first. However I had B2B on shuffle mode about a year after it was released and when I heard AOM out of the blue I appreciated it much more. Charlie in particular is outstanding on AOM, as is Mick.

Gunface doesn't do anything for me.

Seeing that Out Of Tears was issued as a single I thought for sure they'd release Already Over Me as a single.

Imho GF has a great acid guitar sound and nice dissonances. And you gotta admire the fact that (iirc) AOM was recorded live in the studio. Ask another band to do this : they're simply unable to, cos they're used to use Protools as a crutch.

What album are those on? Oh yeah, the one I never listen to because the songs suck.
