Who's to say what is and what isn't a mistake? In everyone's life there's roads not taken, but it's impossible to know if not taking any of them was a mistake, since you can't know for certain what would have happened if you HAD taken them. I like to think everything worked out exactly the way it was supposed to, even if by all appearances that might not seem to be the case.

Sure, Tatters. Replace mistake with choices and you are, perhaps, closer to the truth (if there is one...).

My biggest Stones mistake was not telling a white lie to get into the show at the Double Door. Could have done it but for some goofy reason didn't...ARRGH!
