Interesting article. Shows the band members were rapidly moving up the league, property wise. And despite the constant crying the poor tale they were clearly able to get their hands on funds to pay rental and or purchase costs. Their big tax bill in 1970 was not just a matter of high tax rates but also some VERY high earned income during the period. Plus of course no one paying enough attention to the Inland Revenues legitimate demands.
