It's a great series. The one where Mick makes Keith do the grocery deliveries on his bike is good too, and when they go on tour and leave clueless Bowie to run the shop!

That was hysterical. Mick and Keith were great and the guy that did Michael Caine was spot on!

Hello,

I stumbled across 'Stella Street' when it was first shown and couldn't believe my ears...or eyes, hah-hah!
Superb viewing when you rolled in from a late night.

I had the pleasure of meeting Phil Cornwell a couple of years ago and he indulged me with Jagger, Bowie , Lennon and quite a few others too, despite me being a bit pissed to be fair. Big-time music fan:"Well alriiiighhhht!".

Cheers,

Simon.

Stella Street always had moments of brilliance in it and the Mick and Keith sketches were invariably hilarious. I think there were three series altogether and also a full-length feature film.

Hello everyone I just had a thought... I wondered if the new Stones shop would be like the one Stella street. The 2 of them in the shop was one of my favourite bits in that programme.

Perhaps someone could sneak down there one night
and paint MICK & KEITH'S CORNER SHOP over the door.

This Keith's voice is the best I have ever heard...he nailed Keith's 90's thru early 2000's voice.

I think Joe Pesci needs anger treatment. And he seems to suffer from ADHD also. Maybe CBT would be in order?

Mick and Keith had that shop in Surbiton some years back when they were looking for a new business venture apart from albums/DVD's/CD's etc. and something else that may bring in a quid or two.

Living in my home town of Kingston at the time and would go past the corner shop at Maple Road/Brighton Road and look in.............. but they were never there.

Soon found out from their dedicated Stones staff that they decided to start going on Tour again and finish their little venture in the retail business.

Good for them as they haven't looked back since then.

Onwards and Upwards Mick ,Keith, Charlie and also Ronnie got on the bandwagon as well.

Probably have done a lot better since those days.
Nice video taken by someone in the shop at the time.

Best of luck to them for all the good times ahead in these uncertain times..................things will get better.smileys with beer

Here you go, Rockman. I don't think the Bowie character is the most convincing one though.

The sad news is that John Sessions, whose credits include his brilliant portrayal of Keith in Stella Street, has died.

Sessions recalled meeting Richards and the other members of the Rolling Stones. "They watched the show," he told Radio Scotland. "Keith said he really enjoys it and he's thinking of getting a little corner shop."

Very sad news and only 67 years old.

Heard it on BBC News this afternoon.

Such a great lookalike and mimic of Keith Richards and so much more.

R.I.P. John Sessions.
