Thoroughly enjoyed this book,
I have perused some of the other "Rough Guides" out there on other musical acts.
I thought the author of the Rough Guide to the Rolling Stones had good insight and in a general way, agreed with most of what he said. One of the reviews at amazon says it was "gripping", probably a good description.

The book is detailed, a good read and he knows his stuff - but, as all of these things are, it's very subjective and I don't agree with loads of his opinions.
