Here's two of the biggest unsolved mysteries in The Rolling Stones 50 year career that people just aren't to sure about..

1- Brian Jones Death?

2- Carly Simons song "You're so Vain" Was it written about Mick..or Warren Beattie?

If was about DAVID GEFFEN, Straight out of Carly's mouth (do a Goggle for more facts)

Since Jagger sings harmony on the chorus of the song it never even made sense that it was about him, Warren Beatty maybe but not THE JAG....

As usual, Colonial hits it out of the park with a thought-provoking question.

What don't we know..?

Brian Jones' killer

If or when Keith had sex with Marianne

Whether Mick's todger is indeed undersized

The extent to which other musicians' work was stolen by Mick and Keith

Whether Mick is really bi-sexual

How Gram Parsons died

OT: Whether Paul McCartney died and was replaced by 'Faul'

We don't know what you would say to Mick if his fly was open.

Did Mick really and truly sing back-up on the Beatles' BABY YOU'RE A RICH MAN or was he just present at the session? (He apparently was there). The master tape box at EMI has written on it "Mick Jagger?" Whoever wrote on it wasn't sure, with that question mark. If I met a relaxed Mick that's one thing I'd ask him.

At this point in time, we may know less than ten percent of what we will ever know about the Stones. I think that many more articles and books will be written about them, like there have been about the French Revolution and Marilyn Monroe. I feel that mostly lacking is how they worked, what they thought of the work of colleagues and what colleagues thought of their work, their place in cultural history and societal changes. I think this would be mostly suited for (semi-) scientific research; it's probably too technical and abstract for many fans.

Keiths teeth are OBVIOUSLY false, just look at the video for "IORR"- his real ones are rotting out of his mouth at this point!
I'd be more interested to know if any of them have had hair "work".
I guess that Keith has, as he had a bald patch on his crown during Voodoo Lounge" tour, it mysteriously grew back in time for "Babylon"
Brian Jones builder killed him-he recently confessed to this on his death bed.
*The film "Stoned" is a good place to start for more insight.

My question to them would be "Do you know how much you are REALLY loved? and how does that make you feel?"

1sbz..Good post..thats interesting so you think what we actually know about The Stones you're put it at less than 10%..and the other 90% is made up of what people think they know about them..ya' probably right..cheers

1994 is not so recent.

it doesn't take a genius to know that we don't truly know that much about the stones or about anyone famous or not famous. you know your family and your close friends. THAT'S IT. you don't know keith as well as patti does, obviously. you may think you know or wish you knew because you are his biggest fan. but you don't. so why even bother asking us what we don't know? there are a billion things.

What I meant was that there may be written 10 times as much about them in the future than we have now. I'm thinking in centuries here; you have painters from the Middle Ages and before that are still being written books about in this time. I have no doubt that people will still be writing books about the Stones 1000 years from now if our culture survives that long.

Did Mick and Anita have sex in 1968? Keith believes something happened during the shooting of "Performance", Anita denies it and Mick doesn't say anything about it.Who do you believe and why?

Well, a short film of outtakes from Performance showing Anita and Mick having sex won an award at a pornographic film festival in Amsterdam...that might shed some light on the burning question of whether or not Mick and Anita had sex in 1968.

Keith's teeth: he had them replaced in Switzerland in 1974. I do not think they had dental implant technology back then, so he would either have had metal/ceramic crowns or removable dentures. Since they have looked different over the years, I assume he has had this dental restoration upgraded to modern dental implants.

Keith's bald spot is still there.

Some private things, I suppose.
I figure we know as much as the Stones want us to know.

That's only the second time I've seen Anita and Angela together; the first was at Angela's wedding.

It has been reported that Keith and Angela were estranged for awhile, but were reconciled. I would like to know more about that.

I'd like to know about Angela's r'ship with Anita.

I'd like to know about Spanish Tony's life after leaving Keith, and how he died.

I'd like to know who the songs Already Over Me and Anybody Seen My Baby were written about.

Does Keef ever break up the shepherd's pie monotony with a nice chicken pot pie?

Has Keith gotten his blood exchanged in Switzerland in 1972 or not?

He says it was a joke, but he can talk a lot when the day is long, i.e. I'm not convinced of that.
