I'll defend Afternoon Delight. A nice, kinda dumb pop song with good harmonies. Nothing more, nothing less. If you listened to AM radio, you needed those types of tunes.

I actually took a poll on my answer-phone a few years ago: Name the worst song ever.
We came up with Glenn Frey's Smuggler's Blues...which is a terrible record.

like some of kiss' work and love sedaka. i like loving stuff other ppl don't. sorta like taking in a po' stray animal or something....

"Come on Eileen" was the greatest abomination ever recorded. i hated that song the minute I heard it and I loathe every second I'm subjected to it. Just thinking about it has driven me to a despair so deep I may have to end it some day...

Gotta take up for "Go All The Way" by the Raspberries - near perfect power pop.
