Retiring from working life, like Mick and Keith are doing right now? Or are you going to work the office till death? Ok, wish you good luck. Just leave the guys, they just have done and seen it all.

DIE???????????? That's horrible to say! 67 is YOUNG these days, relatively speaking. Mick has more vitality than any 67 year old I've ever seen! He acts like a 40 year old man, and I bet he can out run most men 1/2 his age. Keith and Ron, that's another story.

67 is possibly young these days.individual!anyway its younger than it used to.
But it's not only physical, its about mentally also.

Mick seems to be whole package(phys.&ment.).I think he uses computers, cameras and mobilephone addition functions thousand times better than me(32yrs).And he may be really interested of those....

Remember - and it's a very important thing to remember - he can't be bothered to work on music, whether it be mixing old finished never before released tracks for potential double album reissues or a box set; or seemingly no new Rolling Stones. Hence why he's so 'up' with current technology.

A little bite don't hurt .............

As a kid I remember that we had rooster back home in our garden, that attacked me when I entered the garden Man!! I hated that....and an other thing that frustrated me about animals was a little dog in my neighborhood that grabbed my leg and want to ride

Well I turn 64 next week and I'm still working, married, going to concerts (Los Lobos & Taj Mahal on Feb 18), and doing the things I enjoy. I'd rather be 34, but it's not all that bad, boys & girls.

Keefriffhard, you make it sound as if 67 is past the purchase date. I know plenty of people in their mid-late 60s that are still going just as if they were in their mid-early 60s or their entire 50s.

Keith, on the other hand,...

Re: What would you do at the age of 67?

They could take a leaf out of McCartney's book, namely be a little more active, do some shows, and generally make themselves a bit more accessible to their fanbase. Wouldn't hurt. With the exception of Ron, they're the same age as him.

Macca is a great example of how to treat your fans and going on the road is good for your health. He looks a picture of health for a guy of his age.He has an excellant rapport with his fans and the public in general. If only our lads didn't seem so distant and aloof at times.Mick and Keith sitting at home in a lazy retirement isn't good for their health and well being.Get off your arses lads and get on the road. You know it makes sense. smoking smiley>grinning smiley<smoking smiley

To say what the Stones would be doing is "work" in the traditional sense is a bit of an overstatement. God bless them, but they have never "worked" a day in their life.

If B.B. King can play in his 80's (granted on a much smaller scale) the Stones can do it in their late 60's.

They would do it because it's fun and they will make a ton of $. You could say the same thing from Steel Wheels on.

I was 67 last year and for a birthday present I bought for my girl (she's also over 60) tickets for an open-air concert in Munich: Steve Winwood and Eric Clapton - after that we went home and did what we like to do ...

PS: Working in the IT business, I had to retire at 60, nobody wants an old man as a computer expert - in a way it is sad, but it gave me more time for my hobbies ...

This year for my next birthday we'll be going to Roger Waters' show "The Wall" ...
