The same question was asked about MightyStonesStillRollin50--but that was another thread for another year.

While I doubt it, I too have picked up some context clues that made me think the same thing.

Yet, as a good number of us know, and that JJOL didn't deny when asked - they are the same person. Also previously known as stonescrow.

So, I just have to ask. Do you believe this individual to be a Beatles insider as well? spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

With all due respect to John, RIP, I leave the Beatles to my mother.

Lol....well played...well played.

Tracks with each other, well, kinda like watching Brett Favre make nice with Aaron Rodgers.

Such a shame, I bet he could have been a great guitar player....

How about Ronnie's sax on HIWY?

Didn't remember that. Let me guess though ... Brian's the better player?

Likely, I'm not qualified for that one. Brian is so enigmatic to me......sooo talented, sooo fragile. His gift was natural ability, but he never focused long enough to not only master, but push the boundaries of any one instrument. Reminds me of a friend of mine, best guitar player I know, but every time we get together, he brings a banjo, or a mandolin, or a pedal steel. He can play them all, but I would just like to play guitar with him once and a while.

yes, talent is one thing, and focus and ambition another one entirely.

back to brian and the beatles, i loved his slide solo on i wanna be your man... made this song for the stones... and this song really helped them get noticed in the first place

Agreed, his playing was very unique in my opinion. He was very "reverent" about the blues.
