Looking at the webb pages of Ben, Axel and Charlie, I am a little bit confused. Everyone has totally different gigs listed:

I hope Charlie will be in Vienna...

It is great to see Charlie have the "playing live" bug... just like Ronnie...
now if the twins can "come to terms"... viola.

Yup, maybe Ronnie and Charlie should request a "sit down" with the twins and tell(suggest to) Mick and Keith "how it is"(how it could be)... but... sigh.... who knows how this will all work out.

I wish they all would stay in "playing shape" and then they could maybe do little short tours 10-15 shows without having to do the month of rehersals. Just keep it all kind of small... maybe look at the business model of another smallish, successful touring band and copy that. There is plenty of money to be made playing to 3000-20,000 per night for 15 nights.... if they keep the over head down.

Yeah. I am back from Kaufleuten Club.

At 6.30 my friend blues bandit and me met at the "Hof", only a small part of the Kaufleuten Club, a bar, lounge, with a small part with tables and chairs where you can eat. There are about 6 tables (for two, four and for six persons). I said hello to blues bandit and he told me "Did you read my sms?", I said no.. and had a quick look over the place.. and who was sitting next to us? Yeahhhhhh Charlie... Axel, Ben, Dave and other 2 people. There were about 5 other people at the other tables apart from us two. I was nervous.. of course. But we all let Charlie have his time there. Nobody did ask him something or did bother him. I think privacy is important. After eating.. they left through a door right next there.. I guess a way to the backstage area. The other people .. about 7-9 including us..did start to talk to each other.. And one thing we all noticed. They left, but one of them stopped and took the hand of the waiter to say "thank you" (who was nervous all the time they stayed there)... and who was that? Charlie of course. As we all said... the man has style, class ... but we had too, we left him his privacy. I am very happy now. Gooooooooood night.

(always remember how Gazza and his friend met Charlie in Lisboa and Blues Bandit and me were sitting at the bar and watched.. this time, it was our time. ok we did not talk, but.. that doesn't matter)

I was in Dessau and it was really really fantastic!!!!

There was a great atmosphere in that church and there was a relaxed Charlie I've never seen before. He smiled, looked around like somebody having great fun with what they were doing. You could see and feel, that these four guys love that music they did and they liked to have some room for own improvisation, like Dave Green with his Bass (... was staggering) and like Charlie at the end of a tune (treating the drums to start right into the next song...)

In Hamburg in 2009 at St. Pauli Theatre it was in my opinion totally different - it was at the beginning of that ABCD tour and may be it was more tense for the guys - here in Dessau all was very relaxed, easy and cool and there was more room to play some solo parts - Axel and Ben on the piano, Dave with his Contrabass and Charlie behind the drum set.

At the end of the encore Charlie gave some autographs (but very quick and signature is unfortunately not really clear, but its from him :-).

Hopefully the play also in 2012 ...

here two of the pics I took.

Just came back from Germany. The Dessau gig was fantastic. As Andreas said, very relaxed. Long solos. Charlie smiled ear to ear for much of the concert. He and Dave Green were very tight, Charlie watching closely Dave's fingers, they were less than a meter from each other, so the drums and bass were locked very closely. Amazing experience.
