Nice interview with Charlie talking passionately about Pizza...............sorry,boogie woogie, with the ABC and D band. You could tell it means a lot to him playing that kind of music with that band. winking smiley

PS... but what about Chuck?

Did no one ask him?

Chuck was mentioned.

Charlie watches Chuck but follows Keith usually.Nothing new there.
Not much said about The Rolling Stones, and didn't realy expect it.
He was there as a follow up to a previous interview about the boogie woogie band. winking smiley

So why doesn't Charlie want to play Glastonbury? Does it matter to him where he plays? I thought he liked the idea of work for its own sake. Does that mean he won't even smile during the set if they do play Glasto? And what does he think about the other 18 or so shows The Stones are playing? Probably the same, doesn't want to, but will if the other three do. It brings to mind his Steel Wheels era comment about 5 years working and 20 years hanging around, where he was complaining about all the hanging around--it now seems that he's about ready to complain about the working instead....

Very entertaining little interview. Well, I would say Glastonbury is all but confirmed since Charlie has never stood in the way of the wishes of the others.
