Obviously we have an edge to our southern neighbours for beer, but on St. Paddy's I stay away from Guiness and enjoy this Irish cider (and cider is technically a 'brew' winking smiley ) ...

Unlike today's new wave of Trendy "ciders" (Sommersby, Keith's), the first ingredient you read is actually 'cider'. The others all taste like cheap apple coolers.

Yum, that split pea soup looks good, and a cold beer to go with it. It's been a rough day.

I have very fond memories of one long ago St. Patty's Day spent in Savannah GA where they dye the river green. It's still a week away though, so pace yourself everyone...
