hi all, haven't been on in a bit...
I just saw this thread on 8mm footage database and clicked on Honestman (cuz I love his threads and wanted to see whathe posted last) -- and something's wrong. It says that this users's account has been deactivated. Is Honestman ok? did he change his name or something? did I miss something?

Honestman decided he wasn't going to follow the netiqutte on this board and suffered the conseqenses of that decision. Hopefully, he will be back!

He fell foul of bv.(Something to do with offending another board member). Honestman says he had no intention to offend, I'm guessing because of this he is refusing to apologise. bv said if he apologises and agrees to not do it again he will be O.K.....but no sign since this morning.................

Surely, in instances like this is should be the 'victim' who has the final say as to whether the 'perpetrator' gets banned...in this particular case, Addicted, rather than BV. It might be that Addicted didn't take whatever Honestman said that badly. Seems a bit harsh to be banning people who have been long term posters on here and I'm sure his intention was not to cause any harm...come on Addicted ave a word with BV.

Since due to the chosen policy of the site, posters, posts and threads disappear without any explanation, let me make the following recollection to clear our some confusion. In the original or first thread about "What Happened to Honestman", made by I think SwayStones, moderator did explain what took place, and that he doesn't allow any "campaigns" here against or even for other posters here. It was also said that any kind of public discussion of moderation policy is not allowed here. But then then whole thread was delated, so did that particular info. So the result is people like swiss keep on wondering what happened.
I don' expect this post/thread to live long either, though.
