A British court granted bail to Julian Assange
A British court has decided today to grant bail to the founder of Wikileaks, Julian Assange. His lawyers have offered to provide a permanent address in the UK for his client to be reachable. Despite the court decision, former Australian hacker pass 48 hours in jail and that all indications are that the prosecution will use on behalf of the authorities in Sweden, a country that claims for alleged sexual offenses. British judges have yet to decide whether to accept his extradition to that country, though that decision will take at least a couple of weeks, according to British media

Yeah, you're right, but it might be the dark glasses.
Jackson didn't have so many wrinkles.cool smiley

How old is she now ?
If I was her, I don't know how I would stand being so beautiful in her youth & then look so old.
Ok,some of you will tell that, like Anita, she isn't one of these women who looks like an alien because of to many facial surgery ,but still, what a shame .:-(

Yes well, being an activist -hope I didn't misunderstood this word in English cause I sometimes mix terrorists with activists - isn't always bad.
William Baldwin talked about the delicate balance between protecting first amendment rights and protecting the country's children from violence and obscenity for instance.
Bianca talked about the inequality of the death penalty based on race, and lack of ressources to pay for "big" /famous lawyers .

And now,bv is gonna to close the thread because he received too many reports -like he did with my 11.09.11 thread .

Do you always tell everybody everything about yourself, and what you're going to do before you do it?

Nor did Mrs. Jagger when she was about the age as Michael Jackson when people tended to photograph him. I haven't seen a new photo of Jacko for a yaer and a half, so I don't know how his face looks nowadays... I'm not too keen on seeing, either...eye rolling smiley

I think Mrs. Jagger still is not matching in wrinklerwise her ex-husband though... cool smiley

Interesting how somehow so tirelessly and publicly concerned about the rights of the downtrodden is so often pictured wearing fur.

Bless her heart. She deserves admiration for her struggle for human rights all over the world.

I was thinking that, too.

A great strategy, to look at the outfit or the look of somebody
instead of dealing with the topic one tries to discuss.

Well, I agree with her on this issue and on others but her clothing represents, to me, a connected issue on which we don't agree. Or so it seems. Maybe it's faux.
