Stones supposedly played this song once during the 75 tour. Anybody heard the Stones live version? Thoughts?

Played more than once...all pretty sloppy and uninspired.
Not sure why they chose to do it at all really.
I guess Keith was tired of being Happy

I always felt that Sure The One You Need is not up to par with most Rolling Stones songs of the 70s. If it had been included on a RS album, it would be one of the weakest track. The song is so predictable; and when that solo comes you allready KNOW that "oh here's the solo, then the chorus again, and then another verse". Not that predictable is always a bad thing.
I liked Sure The One You Need a lot better when I only knew the official version. But when hearing it live, in a Rolling Stones set, it striked me as something forgettable. Glad he changed back to Happy for the rest of the tour
