Ask Bill Wyman a question
Posted by: Cristiano Radtke ()
Date: November 21, 2010 17:02

On the Twitter, today in the morning, I read this:

Bill Wyman is inviting fans to ask him any questions in a brand new Bill Wyman regular question and answer feature! Bill is asking fans to email questions that they'd want him to answer – and Bill will be directly answering questions from fans.

In your autobiography Stone Alone you stated that at the end of June 1965 you had precisely £6 and one shilling in your bank account. But had you taken into account the two-and-six you spent on a pack of Rothmans on the last Tueday of that month?

Exactly why did you leave the Stones? Were you just tired of all the travelling? Did you feel your song ideas were being ignored? Would you ever consider returnig to the Stones, as a guest bass player? How many women have you slept with? Which Stone did you feel closest to? Are you going to retire soon?

Th funny thing most of the questions we can answer our self.

Most curious question for me is who played what and who's Idea it was...I mean the arrangements of the song

Do you consider lucky for joining the Stoens or do you consider them lucky to have had you (and your lovely playing) in the band?

Why didn't you go to jail is another one. He really is leaving himself open with this kind of thing. Polanski has been hounded for decades (probably rightly), yet The Stones are immune. They must have some serious people representing them.

Good lawyer?
A pay off?

For sure a taboo subject.

I'd say that could go both ways.

Bill supplied the band with needed amps at the time, and the band gave Bill a vehicle to fame and fortune.

During your final tour with the Stones in 1989, did you receive a weekly salary, monthly salary, or were you paid upfront one lump sum?

Also what expenses are you allowed to charge starting with transportation to the rehearsals, food, lodging, spending money?

How are you paid in residuals for past records and such?

wasn't he still a partner in the band in '89-90? He'd get his cut of everything, I believe, not a salary.

wouldn't someone have to press charges? Without a witness, there's no case, and without a complainant, there's no motivation for the state to pursue it.

No hamburger is made of 100% beef anywhere.

If asked, will you play any shows in the next Stones tour?

What do you think of Keith's new book?

No if the state suspects child endangerment or abuse the girl and mother could have been pulled in. The girl would have been examined and the mother interrogated. Then they would have brought in Bill...but nothing happened.
