The insurance and doctors - look B.B. King tours, Jerry Lee tours...I know, the daily cost of their tour can not be compared to the one of the Stones, but I still don't believe it could be a huge problem.

And the world economy - it will be bad the next year, I don't need to be an economy expert to know that and it won't be much better in the years to come, more likey worse.

But I can't see that preventing The Stones from touring, since they don't have an option to wait really. It is now or never. Well, there might be enother tour in 5...10 years of course, but who knows.

Most importantly the tour will earn money and the state of economy only has an impact on how much. Financially it might not be the most successfull tour of the history, but it will still earn a lot. And that is a good reason to go on tour.

Btw, it's hilarious - but he left absolutely no doubt about his own hopes. He's eager as h**l to record new material, and he's longing for the road again. When Keith says he really wants to tour, Charlie's probably going to support that. And we all know Ronnie's ready for the road.

Yes, exactly, just hilarious It's the book that has delayed the music, now it's up to Mick....it's up to him to plan the entire tour and make it work. I think Keith lives in a dream world and his ungratefulness towards Mick irks the heck out of me.

Everyone here seems to turn a blind eye on Keith's poor performances during the last tour. Oh yes, I know that Keith's playing is perfect, but outside the IORR worlds, basic Stones amateur that I know were very critical about Keith for the first time.

Also, do not forget that for the first time, we could see stadiums half-empty for the last leg of the BB tour.

I'm sure the Stones' entourage also have that interrogation mark in their mind somewhere, and this will have to be discussed at some point...

Keith now very much destroyed the sex-part of the "sex, drugs and rock´n roll" image, that they had. In the article above Keith makes out, that Mick is sexually insecure, and that this was the reason for the phallus on stage. So when Mick is on stage now, everybody will giggle about the man with the little penis and the insecurities or about the 67 year old guitarist who thinks so much about another man´s penis.
