Sorry mate, and it wont happen in 2012 either, as there'll be no Glasto that summer.

If there will be a tour, isn't this the way they normally handle things: A. Record release aug. 2011 B. Tour North America, sep. 2011 - jan. 2012 C. Tour Japan, Australia, South-East Asia, march-april 2012 D. Tour Europe, summer 2012.

IF they intend doing a tour of the usual length.

Whilst I'm pretty sure that (barring disasters) they'll tour, I'm not as convinced there'll be too many shows outside of North America and Europe.

Firstly, I dont think it'll run beyond summer 2012 - and that being the case, as they get older they tend to take more time off between shows and between tour legs.

So, I'd be surprised if a year-long tour sees more than about 80-85 shows.

mickscarey says "Done Deal". If that's not good enough for some of you people then I just don't know what!

A new disc interests me more than another tour similar to the last. I really do hope they roll the dice and go with an unconventional producer like Jack White as some have hoped for. Imagine that! And then a tour rather like the 2002/03 Stadium/arena/ club tour. That would be something special.

In Paris, on November 8th (a week ago today) at around 6 PM in the Hotel Le Meurice, in the Grand Castiglione room, Keith was asked this question:
-Will there be a tour next year?
He did his "British MP-parody" and said: -Unfortunately I'm not in a posission to deny or confirm this for the time being. Ha, ha, ha.
(Everyone laughed - it was a funny parody!)
Then he continued:
I'm hoping, and I have a strong feeling, that we will do something next year. A tour. And I also want to cut something. New material. Yeah, that would be nice!

I NEVER heard him confirming anything in Paris, but he left absolutely no doubt about his own hopes. He's eager as h**l to record new material, and he's longing for the road again. When Keith says he really wants to tour, Charlie's probably going to support that. And we all know Ronnie's ready for the road. (Yes I know the Faces could have some gigs lined up, but Ronnie's made it clear that his first priority is the Stones, his main band for 35 years, and a good source of income.)
I guess it's up to Mick now, and the financial situation globally next year.
