You don't call these jewel box inlets an "album cover"? True album cover art has long gone since vinyl records were replaced by compact discs. The last true Stones album cover was "Dirty work" - no true album cover has been done since. Just little pictures of things you don't want to see. Some of them real ugly.

An all-grey cover would work.

Simple, basic, classic grey. How much greyer could there be? And the answer is none, none more grey.

Fully agreed, music first of course, BUT it is art (or should be) after all and as such it should be treated carefully down to the smallest detail. The cover is a part of the whole package. Sure, I will spend much more time listening to the music rather than staring at the cover :-)

I do not understand that negativity (even if it's meant only in a tongue-in-cheek kind of way) towards the prospect of a new album. I'd love them to make a new album. I feel a new Rolling Stones album is long overdue.

Maybe they could ask Sebastian Krüger or Damian Hirst
