Hi everyone! I`ve been a reader of this board for quite a long time and, even though I`ve never taken part of any topic, I`m aware that IORR is one of the best places to soak up stones content of any kind.

That`s why I come to you now. I need to get in touch with any fan (or fans, of course) who has seen the stones perform in london between 1962 and 1969.
I hope i`ll find someone in this board who had privilege. If not, I wonder if you guys can help me contact someone who has...

Now Max, you know as soon as he did that someone would bitch about how asking for people who saw the Stones then, is in fact on topic....lol. In fact I wish he would so I could do just that Good luck in your search!

Phil,Max is right .Changing the title of your thread would be good .

I cannot help you on this one -saw them in 76 for the 1st time .
One of my friend saw them in 64 if I am not mistake,but it was down under ,not in London

seriously, you should retitle it! there are people here who saw the band then/there,
but this generic "ahem, help please" isn't the way to approach them :E (and of course it's not OT!)

oh and: to change the title, just log in, go back to your first post, squish the "edit post" button under it
and then make the necessary changes and save them.

Hi i came to england in 1968 saw the stones on tv singing JUMPING JACK FLASH since then i have never looked been fan since 1968,1st time i saw the STONES was in hyde park 1969,they were raw and rusty BUT BRILLIANT. 1969 was a good year for the stones, HONKY TONK WOMEN THE BEST ROCK SINGLE WAS OUT & LET IT BLEED ALBUM WAS OUT TOO & I WAS ONLY 16.ITS ONLY ROCK-ROLL BUT I LIKE IT.

I had a near miss in 1964.Stones played two shows at Kingston Granada on 13th February 1964,but schooling came first and ma said no.All us schoolkids were talking about going ,but none of us did.Could walk there from my house in 5 minutes.They also played the Cellar club in Kingston on 12th September 1963.The place was just a house with a cellar used as a music venue.Kingston-upon-Thames is just a few miles from Richmond where they first got known as being a good band.Happy days.

I saw the Stones at the age of 10 in 1969 at MSG."The Breakfast Show"! Went with my older sister who tricked our parents who had told her she could go only if she was not going alone!!

I saw the Stones several times in the sixties but not in London. I saw them in Wolverhampton and Birmingham
