Blind Boy Fuller was a ragtime blues artist between 1924 and 1940. His repertoire included a number of popular double entendre "hokum" songs such as "I Want Some Of Your Pie", "Truckin' My Blues Away" (the origin of the phrase "keep on truckin'), and "Get Your Yas Yas Out" (adapted as "Get Your Ya-Yas Out" for the origin of the later Rolling Stones album title.

What does Get Your Ya-Yas Out exactly MEAN?! I know about the 'show me your tits' theory, but my priest told me that's rubbish.

Never heard that one before. It's an old New orleans expression as far as I know that means casting your evil spirits out.
It may take on an altogether new meaning for Man City fans this season after they signed Ya Ya Toure from Barcelona in the close season.
It's also mentioned in the chorus of the song Lady Marmalade - 'did ya get ya Ya Yas out'!

I always thought it meant something like an exhortation to enjoy yourself, to let yourself go, to enjoy the music etc
But it could just be the Stones being mischievous and changing the well-known English phrase "Get your tits [breasts] out", substituting "ya yas" to avoid controversy. ??
