Their is always one in every crowd who has to complain. Were you at the show? If not,is it too much to ask that you let the people who were tell us about it?

I attended both shows. Also a great opportunity to meet great Stones friends like Sici, Graham, Matt, etc ( had not met them since 2007)and meet and congratulate the owner of this site, too!!!!.
It was a real stones party in an intimate venue, no matter where you were seated, you could see the show really well and the sound was perfect. You felt that you were INTO it all the time. In my humble opinion, both shows were superb and as I could check myself Ronnie is definetely ready for a tour. he gave the impression that he had kept too much rock and roll in his veins for too long and yesterday the bomb exploded.......Hats off, Ronnie

Debris -> Ronnie Lane song.
Plinth -> guitar solo with slide and Stomp drumming behind.

Drury Lane 2005 versus Ambassadors 2010 ? That was that, and this was this. Better ? Worse ? Who's to judge ? If you were lucky enough to have gone to both, THEN you can compare. If you didn't attend both, then you have nothing to say on the matter, nothing at all.

I would have been there but you can't always get what you want winking smiley
I'm really happy to read your comments, and hope there will be some other shows
in Europe.
Thanks for the pictures and videos.
The JJF version is awesome, very good idea to let the girl sing, it remains me
bits of Gimme Shelter, maybe the STONES could find some inspiration from Ronnie for this version.
Fresh and new, that's rock'n'roll, and they missed this thing during their last shows for the war horses IMO.
So congrats to Ronnie smileys with beer

Just came back to Norway after 2 fantastic shows yesterday!!!
.....and it was so nice to meet old Stones-friends I hadn't seen since 2007 (And new ones - Hi Paulywaul, Robert & Claudia and the others)
And as the most of the others here, I think the second show was a bit better than the first one. It was really nice to see so many wellknown faces in the audience!!!

All the best

Wow it's funny he would pick JJF to close with. You'd think he'd choose something he had involvement in making. A lot of decent choices out there.

Ronnie Wood - 2nd Show Review

I was lucky enough to attend the late show last night at the Ambassador Theatre last night in London.

I've seen Ronnie live solo twice before and loads of times with the Stones. I love Keef and Mick T too, but I must say Ronnie was really on fire. Superb. I doubt either of them could match him (I saw Mick T solo a couple of years ago in Amsterdam).

Looking great, joking, and firing out licks like it was the mid-70s again.

The guys from Stomp provided some very cool percussion on a couple of songs, in particular for Ronnie's free-wheeling slide spot, which was awesome.

Other high spots included what must be a new one - a great Sweetness My Weakness reggae track that I am going to find and download - as well as much of the new album and a standout Stay With Me, encoring with JJF.

With Ronnie playing like this, it makes you realise how shockingly under-utilised and limited he must feel playing second fiddle in the Stones.

Rockin' Ronnie Wood indeed!

Thanks for the review..Now we know why so many in the rock world as well as the Stones
turn to Woodie when they need a guitar player..Ronnie can really rock it...

Lets hope with Keith being back in good health and Woodie on fire they can bring it altogether and
make another Great Stones album...

I was about to say that very freshing to hear someone actually singing/screaming the song not just mimicking it... but no need to bash Jagger now, Keith's doing enough of that already...

These two shows were special as they were release shows for the new album. Imagine the Stones had played their entire new album instead of one or two songs from it. Very different show from other shows. Still great.

I feel like crying. Please let it happen again.
Guess all I want to say has been written here so just a bit about my day.
First a tour of Matt's house seeing his Stones/Faces/Ronnie collection.
Then a look at the front door where Stones played together for the very first time.
Then being at the Rehearsel/Sound check.
Then Ronnie's art exebition
Then the 2 shows in row 1 and 2.

Only thing I hate... Don't show up at London City airport when you got a flight home from Heathrow! But they worked it out.

Thanks Ronnie! Please do a tour!
