You'd need a dead cool rhythm section that keep steady while you're letting some chords drop infront and after the actual meassures, change that to solo riffs sometimes, never repeat the exact same phrase and do the same with your co-guitarist only vice versa.
that should get ya in the ballpark, I'd think.
hey wow, Ulevi stadium!
have fun.

this may sound obvious but have you listened to the live versions and try coping the licks by ear? It is tried and true method, though it takes patience...

Yeah Ullevi, I know, although indoors, but hey! That and Keiths birthday is why I agreed to do the gig. Don´t know bout my rythm section, but they´re pretty good at playing sloppy, unintentionally
So what´s happening here at approx 1:12, chord/riffwise?
Then at 1:32, there´s a lick that´s repeated more or less at 2:32?

UMT definitely uses the F#. Anyone who things it's a G chord must be listening to a slightly speeded up recording. Listen to UMT at Altamont and the chords are a lot easier to hear verse: F# E D D x2 chorus: A A D Bm F# E D A A.

That first lick is what Erik sez. Vil, if you're playing Ulevi Stadium, you've probably done these licks a million times without thinking about it. Maybe you should just let it rip, and turn around afterwards and see you outplayed Keith.
