I only just last year read TALL TALES, but it was published in 1985, whereas PICTURES ends in 2010. So that's more than "updating," I'd say. (TALL TALES was published before I was born, so maybe "updating" is a relative term.)

TALL TALES was a trade paperback. PICTURES is a glossy, jumbo hardcover. Even the old stuff has new stuff (Mick was smoking heroin regularly when Jerry first met him.) Jerry shows her tits a lot in PICTURES. I could go on.

As far as I know, its only getting a UK release. I doubt there is as big a market here in the US. Mick and Jerry were tabloid fodder in constantly in People and US magazine in the early to mid-80s, but I think they lost favor from repitition. I remember reading an article about celebrity journalism sometime in the early 90s and an editor said 'Mick and Jerry? They're so passe'. Jerry has alot more traction in the UK, their resident Texan with the cute comments etc...but here, not so much.
