He was amazing one the One show. Bristled with a nervous energy, but seemed relaxed and lucid. Of Course Chris Evans did a tv special interviewing all the band a decade or so ago, so maybe they have remained friends. Loved watching him drive the monster truck over two cars. Fantastic stuff. Would be great if its available to link.

Do you mean that Ronnie said this in his interview?

If so, thats not what he said. He was plugging his own radio show.

Yeah, Drury Lane '05 was quite something.

Have to give this one a miss though. It's midweek, I'll just be back from a holiday and I simply dont have enough leave left to take 2 days off work to go to London. Had it been a weekend gig, I'd have certainly thought about it. sad smiley

If Drury Lane '05 was anything to go by, it shouldnt be a big problem.

Plus there will be two shows.

Can't promise you that grinning smiley but unfortunately I have the same problem as you - no holidays left, gotta check with my boss about that.

Drury Lane Theatre has just over 2,200 seats and the Ambassadors has just 380 (it is tiny).

One of the funniest things about that night was in the hotel bar afterwards when we both remembered each other's usernames, realised we'd had a 'heated disagreement' on IORR about football about a year earlier and then pretended to settle it with a punch up....

To all the people posting that they dont have annual leave to go and see Ron - in Australia we have a very easy system called the " sickie".Apparently one calls up and sound like their on their death bed,and wont be seen for a few days - or go to a doctor and get a certificate for a week off.Have never personally done this myself- have only heard about it - well maybe just once.....
