"Ladies and Gentlemen" in Seattle - just bought my ticket!
Posted by: DaveG ()
Date: September 2, 2010 00:21

I bought my ticket to see L & G at the Pacific Place 11 in Seattle! We're leaving for Hawaii the next morning for 2 weeks and we're spending the night in Seattle anyway. Since my wife wouldn't enjoy the movie, we'll have dinner with my daughter downtown then I'll go by myself and she'll spend the evening at my daughter's home in the Queen Anne neighborhood. A perfect arrangement.

Anybody else here going to see the film in Seattle?

What a coincidence, I bought my ticket today also! I'm also going solo, nobody wants to see this movie with methumbs down

Hey Dave, what are the chances that "Oh, Carol" will be played in L&G? I know that's the song that "drew you in for life" as you said in your post about Get your ya ya's out.

Mick's rock, I'm roll.

Nice marchbaby!

The chances of Oh Carol being played? There are exactly 2 chances: slim and none! In fact, I bet I can anticipate the setlistspinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Where will you see it?

The BBFC have passed it PG (down from the original A which, if memory serves meant 'must be accompanied by an adult'). Interestingly the 77 version was 83 minutes and this is 93.
