Good luck for tomorrow y'all, with the general public sale. We are thinkin' of ya an' rootin' for ya, fingers crossed.

Just before the pre-sale the ShowClix Ticket Rep said the internet was the better way to go...so after two heart stopping crashes I luckily got 2 tickets. The NY Library this morning also said they do not know if the one copy of the book included with each ticket will be signed...But That's Alright, I'm (Luckily) Going to a Go Go!

I just this minute got through on the phone to Showclix. I have been holding since exactly 12 noon.

The ticket agent told me that the tickets sold in 20 sec and that the server didn't crash. What happened was as soon as the tickets were sold, it would not accept a request for more.

I asked how many tickets were available today, and he said that he could not give me that information; however, he did say that the same amount would be available tomorrow for the general public.

Sad too...

That's bullshit. He told me that too. Everytime I called BTW - I got the same guy (Ryan). He's probably the only one working over there.

I had 5 people all trying to get tickets for me on the website - we were all there waiting before noon and one person never was even able to get the page to pull up to even enter the code. Their site crashed several times.

I am not even able to use the internet at my place of work to try to get tickets tomorrow; my friend who I am going to see Keef with if we get tickets is going to attempt get the tickets on his computer. I guess he has as much luck as I do, been buying tickets forever, so I trust him.

Don't get a refund - that $40's for a good cause, regardless of whether or not you got presale tix (and it clearly said that there were no guarantees).

Good luck tomorrow, Marchbaby - you deserve it for all the news updates over the last few weeks.

Right on.

There was no mention of the $40 securing Pre-Sale tickets for the Keith show. They're a Library for, fecksake!

I'd rather give the $40 to my local library and then check the book out later on. or give it to the animal shelter. not NY

I was logged on at noon and the system crashed, 11,000 people online. I actually got to the part where you put in the number of tickets but then after I clicked it, it brought me back to the beginning and then I couldnt get anything at all. So I decided to phone, and I was on hold on for about an hour. Finally someone picked up and said the very limited amount of tickets were sold out in 30 seconds!

OK, so if 11,000 people paid $45.00 (minimum) to become a "Friend of the NYC Public Library" than KEEF's book raised $495,000.00 for the library! That's awesome!

I'm not asking for a refund, some people did but it's not the NYPL's fault. Fvck it. I'm not buying the book. Anyway I dont appreciate the way he humiliates MICK.
