The Stones in Toronto 1975

In VGP-267 "Luxury In Toronto" the entire first verse is missing the vocals. Was that a problem with Mick's mic or was that somehow lost on the tape?

Either way I kind of enjoy it. It is a beautiful segway and it really allows you to hear the playing without any singing.

A very good show but Charlie is really low in the mix.

Has anything ever surfaced from the second show on 6/18?

I assume you're talking about Honky Tonk Women. I'm guessing that it's a mic problem.

This was the first tour on which they used wireless mics. So that may explain it.

Some beautiful photos from the 1975 tour here:

A great photo montage from Toronto from about 35 seconds to 1:20 including Mick with a wired mic and some great looks at the stubs from both Toronto shows.

Also check out some of the rarely seen 1975 photos including Elton John on stage and some cool backstage photos.

It was the great party tour. They wanted to have a good time and the audience was enjoying every minute of it.

But why do I love that tour? Cause he sounded like Mick and Mick sounded like that in 1975. I prefer that Mick to the 1989-2011 Mick.

Me too! BUT, the 1989 Mick is not the same as the 2011 (or 2006) Mick. Go ahead and compare Atlantic City 89 to anything on the Bigger Bang tour. The difference is nearly(!) as big between 75 and 89 as it is between 89 and 06. Thanks!
