A couple of years ago I bought a limited edition of Flashpoint with a collectables bonus cd. But I was wondering why is this edition is never mentioned in any discography. Is it because 6 tracks are later re-released on the 'Rarities 1971-2003' album ??

One of the first Stones CD I bought way back in 1991.
I later bought the vynil version for the photo booklet.
I am not sure that all the 6 versions are the same.
There are different Bside "remix" versions of the 80's titles.

I have a slightly different cover to the above photo, I think it's meant to be leather, I got it off ebay about 4 years ago, there were a few around at the time and I nearly won 2 copies, it wasn't very expensive if I remember.
I never play it though , but I did put it on my mp3 player a couple of months ago and it pops up as a surprise on random play every now and then.
I don't play Raraties either and ironically it's cover is showing signs of wear and tear, presumably from friction againts the other CDs on the shelf.

Ricky you are correct, I have just checked and opened it out to stand like the top photo and it's the same issue,told you I rarely play it.
Thanks for pointing it out , now I have got it off tghe shelf I will give it a play.

The London remix of Harlem Shuffle featured less guitars, overall, than the NY remix, which is the better of the two. Isn't it the NY remix on Collectibles and Rarities? I remember getting Rarities (for Let It Rock, Through The Lonely Nights and I Just Want To Make Love To You) and wondered why they put the same version of Harlem Shuffle on it, as well as Turning To Gold and something else that was already out.

Actually quite a bit of it was already out if you had all of the singles and import versions of the albums that contained the bonus tracks.
