new single? She Said Yeah!

iTunes has a She Said Yeah, 2 track single, where the 2nd track is a live video of the song. It sounds familiar ... I can't remember where I have a live She Said Yeah - it must be on Got Live If You Want It, I suppose.

It's not on Got Live If You Want It. Where does it come from? Why is it published on iTunes now?

Hullabaloo TV Show November 1965, they also performed "Get Off Of My Cloud".

Gered Mankowitz was there and took some great still photographs, check out Gered's books for the photos and reminiscences.

I'd love them to re-record some of the old hits, and this would be great given a new interpretation... yeah. the Stones blew everyone away with their version, even the Animals.

The Rolling Stones track 'She Said Yeah' makes good 'scents' to Martin Scorsese and Chanel

The Rolling Stones’ track “She Said Yeah," from the band's 1965 album December’s Children (And Everybody’s) will be the soundtrack for a short advertising film for Bleu De Chanel, the new men’s fragrance, directed by Academy Award ® winning filmmaker Martin Scorsese. ABKCO Records is offering the original song on iTunes, along with a video of The Stones performing the song, recorded with live vocals from the November 15, 1965 episode of the nationally broadcast NBC Hullabaloo series.

I wonder if Brian slept with the cameraman's girlfriend or something. He is barely in the video at all.

Oh! It's another ABCKO product!

The only one of their old songs I'd like to hear them record for a new album is "Bittersweet Symphony". They haven't done a proper version of that one yet.

Actually, it's another ABKCO/Stones commercial for a men's cologne.

ABKCO and the Stones are doing another commercial tie-in later this Fall. It will be a Trojan Condoms ad with a special live version of "Satisfaction" from the October, 1966 Honolulu concert.

For the record, I don't think Mick Jagger's voice ever sounded better than during the 1965/1966 period. His voice had a younger timbre and he could really hit a lot more high notes then. I noticed a difference for the worse starting on Beggar's Banquet.

<Yawn!> Another day. Another Mitch BS story to generate attention.

Raise your hand if you knew that "She Said Yeah" was co-written by Sonny Bono for the original hitmaker Larry Williams. If you really knew that, I am impressed.

om-beedle-dee-doh-bom,
Little girl, where did you come from?
You fine little thing,
You make my heart sing,
C'mon, baby, let me buy da wedding ring.

[Verse 2:]
Baby, you drive me crazy,
Got my poor heart hazy.
Ya got my senses reelin',
Oh, baby, what a feelin'.
C'mon, baby, let me make love to you.

[Chorus:]
She said, "a-Yeah."
She said, "a-Yeah."
She said, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah."
C'mon, babe, I wanna make love to you too.

[Verse 3:]
I know I got the feelin',
In my soul.
I know I love ya,
No one above ya.
C'mon, baby, jus' a-let me love you.

[Chorus, slightly altered:]
Yeah!
She said, "a-Yeah."
She said, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah."
C'mon, babe, I wanna make love to you too.

[Instrumental break.]

[Verse 4:]
You got me cravin',
My love you been savin'.
You see, my miss,
I wanna kiss.
C'mon, baby, don' a-treat me like this.

[Chorus, slightly altered:]
She said, "a-Yeah." Wooo-oo!
She said, "a-Yeah."
She said, "a-Yeah, yeah, yeah, now."
C'mon, babe, I wanna make love to you too.

I'm raising my hand. Sorry you can't see it. LOL

I've heard that about five years ago that it was written by Sonny Bono.

I'm raising my hand, too! First heard about it after Sonny passed.

Sonny Bono was a pretty amazing guy. He served as a Republican Congressman until he was killed in an unfortunate skiing accident. His ex-wife took over his Congressional seat and still represents Riverside County in Califonria.

I think you mean July 1966. Is this a fact about the live version of Satisfaction for a commercial?
