hi all...

Crazy day so I haven't actually listened to this yet.

But figured if it's as great as deconstructed Gimme Shelter (and Beatles' HelterSkelter) it would be worth posting/sharing.

Deconstructed: Sympathy for the Devil

The bass track interests me the most!

Keith is a very articulated bass player.

Great Post! T.y

The more "Big Money" YouTube gets the more f*cked up it gets... "Removed by ABKCO" - Allen B. Klein COmpany - is that it?

When I got the time I will upload all the Multi Track recordings I have on my computer they all in .mogg file format including SFD which is in .aup format.

You can open these with audacity which is a free program.

mogg files are ripped from the guitar hero/rock band game...thanks to akgameboy..............................

DRAT!!!

I was able to listen to each once but was looking forward drums & percussion a 2nd time when they were all pulled down by focking ABKCO.

On the drums & percussion...I can't think of another song with such a tribal beat that stays as consistent as this does. It must be hard to be someone like Rocky to play with such little variation for over 5 minutes. It would seem to take a hell of a lot of discipline to not get into it in the moment- to not change what you're doing. Charlie does vary what he's playing, and plays with a very delicate touch. Or did they just turn Charlie way down? thinking cymbals, bell. Also sounds like snares with brushes.

Well, sorry to anyone who didn't get to hear, and thanks to Nicos for offering to post his version of these files.

Thanks. Most of the clips were removed though the last one shows how SFTD might have been played on Stripped.

Never knew Keith played the bass on this one. Really great playing, and that guitar solo is fantastic - I love hearing the guitar and bass in the context of the multitracks. Incredible vocal too of course!

Wow, ABCO is really fast. Looks like the only thing they do is they search the internet for stuff to forbid. I am looking forward to re-upload, these clips are usually very interesting.

"Removed by ABKCO" - Allen B. Klein COmpany - is that it?

From Wikipedia:
ABKCO is the successor company to a business that was founded in 1961 as Allen Klein & Co. Allen Klein was then a business manager specializing in music clients including Bobby Darin and Sam Cooke and, later, managed The Rolling Stones and The Beatles. ABKCO Industries was founded in 1968 as an umbrella company involved in management, music publishing, film, TV and theatrical production. (The acronym stood for "Allen & Betty Klein and COmpany," although Klein would often joke that it stood for "A Better Kind of COmpany".
