A Michigan City resident was arrested Monday on a charge of residential entry after the Porter County Sheriff’s Police said that she attempted to enter a Jackson Township home in search of Mick Jagger.

Taken into custody on that charge was Sandra Carlson, 55.

According to police, at 6:10 p.m. an officer was dispatched to a residence in the 1100 north block of C.R. 450E after the homeowners reported a woman’s coming to their front door, not knocking but instead looking under the door mat, and when confronted by one of the homeowners walking away and going directly to the garage service door, which she also tried to open. When confronted once more, the woman returned to her vehicle and left the scene.

But as the investigating officer was interviewing the homeowners, the woman drove by the residence again and the officer executed a traffic stop, police said.

Carlson advised that “she needed to gain entry in order to speak with her boyfriend, Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones,” police said. “(Carlson) stated that God sent her to that residence so she could meet him there.” Carlson was transported to Porter County Jail.
