....granted it's now owned (and editorialized) by Rupert Murdoch, but there was a story in the Wall Street Journal this past w/end that King james was looking at townhouses in the West Village of Manhattan

How/Why is the Rupert Murdoch qualifier germane to your point?

Speaking about NBA, i just saw Tony Parker in my town, he will be a DJ in a disco club. Wonder what that's going to sound like...

as the fable says:

Even when liars tell the truth, they are never believed. The liar will lie once, twice, and then perish when he tells the truth.

A king no more! He could not do it on his own with 2 cleveland teams that one 60 games twice!! He is just "Robin" to King Wade now. Trying to stack the deck like this, they will be most hated team next year. The Heat will not even get by the old men Celtics next year. Winning one in Cleveland or NY / New Jersey would of meant more than winning 5 this way. He just drastically changed his legacy. Took the easy way out! No guts LeBron!! MEZ

..I think Miami will benefit greatly and it'll be exciting to watch the Heat..but Lebron miscalculated...that's not the way to do it.

He escaped Cleveland for Miami. A no brainer. Freezing ones nuts off in a dreary crappy city or cruise the beaches of Miami made more sense to LJ. Shut the lights off in Ohio as the party is over.

Someone please refresh my memory - just how many rings does he have? How many championships has he won?

in todays media the word "hype" doesnt even begin to describe what goes on out there.in the past they just took someone who was actually talented and overstated the persons ability.[michael jordan for instance is the nba's 3rd all-time scorer, not #1 as most people think] now they just take a guy who gave up during the playoffs and put so much nike money, nba promotion and espn talking behind him that he reachs unbelievable heights in his career WITHOUT EVER WINNNING ANYTHING!!!

how many rings does he have? ZERO.[or as we call it in L.A., five less than kobe]

When he said he was "going to take my talents to South Beach" I became a little confused about his sexual orientation.
