-11-11---12-12--12--11-----etc---------

-9--9----9--9---11- 9------------------
-9--9----11-11--11 9------------------
X----ho----------po-------------------

I found an interesting way to play the 2 chord changes on the SFM intro.
String 5 & 4 to be played as a bar,ho & po string 5 to play wth the 2-nd finger.
String 1,between 11-12 & 12-11 the slide to be played with the pinky finger.(the preview didn't take it??) it. I like he sound of the open b string...smiling smiley
Rhythm played as any Stones version.
Iorr guitarplayers that are interested, enjoy it.

I dont know what the hell that is, but I do it in open G, capoed at 4th, and riff between the open B chord and hammering on B string 1st fret and D string 2nd fret (5th and 6th fret with capo)

Not sure what you mean by ho and po Amsterdamned and is this played in standard or alternate tuning. Could you clarify? Oh, and congrats on the Orange victory today, assuming your a Nederlander and you support the team!

I'd guess ho = hammer on
po = pull off

The poor mans guitar version would be: B-E5(an E would suffice)F#-C#m. F# and C#m are played at the chorus. The first version I learned 38 years ago before I learned open G and open E tuning and learned to play it the proper way.

Found it out my self, sounds a bit folk, requires a bit more technique than the Stones version, but I like it.

I know. It's the just the B major and the E major intro. Two chords are written in the tabs).String 5 and 4 are a bar with the first finger.

As I recall in the poor mans version, the C#m was played right at the end of the chorus before going back to the B.

That would be Start Me Up. There is no C and F in Street Fighting Man.

If I am not wrong (but probably I am mixing up songs), on beggars banquet it is in C / F (open D tuning). Live, it is in B.

C

Amsterdamed - A C#m does work in the poor mans version on standard tuning

It is not played in the opening riff
.

I know.I only wrote a B major and an E major. You can add the open 6th string to the last one. Just my own version. It's a bit an uncommon fingering type.
