No No, 100% NOT A Chance
Just read the Exile article in the latest Uncut magazine.
There was a proposal to do it, and Jagger, amongst others decided against it !!
Thanks a lot Mick !!!!!!!
Seems it's too difficult to play the whole album live !!!
i think the Stones should follow Bruce Springsteen and play every album live.
That would make things interesting, And would give their Career (???) a boost.
Practically, and to be realistic there is no f..chance the Stones will do this.
A shame... Would be great to see them play an interesting show for their die-hard fans.

You forget one crucial factor: without Taylor they aren't capable of doing such a thing. It's even the question if they are still able to play the normal routine setlist (I don't think so), let alone whole albums. Unless they play without guitars.

I don't blame him. Imagine "cranking out" Just Wanna See His Face as the masses scramble for the bathrooms.
That would bring on Start Me Up and ruin the 'live performance' of the album.

slim to none....and i, for one, would surely find it cringe-worthy to hear them even try. hell, they couldn't even cut torn & frayed almost a decade ago....a whole exile-worth of train wrecks? oh, the humanity....

I like Torn and Frayed in Toronto.
Bordering on an obese chance I'd say but it's nice to dream...Quote

Absolutely yes. It's all about context. A band like Phish playing this is one thing because Phish fans love whatever they do, it doesn't matter. Stones fans, on the other hand...and of course I'm not talking about the people who want to hear such songs, I'm talking about the majority of who goes to see them live and want the hits.
That is the context and that is why it wouldn't work. Maybe in a club it could possibly work. But overall, nobody is going to know what the hell song it is among others on the album...and why would they - it hasn't sold like the other albums. Makes perfect sense.
