I remember reading a quote coming from Brian - back in the 8tees- were he stated that he didn't want to be part of the "commercial crap" the Rolling Stones were producing anymore. Count in he was completely 'out of order' then it's the end of the story for him.

Btw, does anyone have large/high quality photos of Brian playing recorder at London Palladium onstage or backstage. Any of him playing it at Ed Sullivan in January 1967 too?

Well Im 52 and most of my friends are 50 ish and dont have bags under their eyes like he did. Its just sad he wore his body out that badly.

He doesnt look like 50 but he looks bloated and tired. And depressed. Terrified even. Understandably. He was afraid they were going to sack him when Mick brought in other players like Ry. And then they did just that.
