Travelin' Man Chords

Hey all. I was jamming last night with a few people and I was messin around playing a little riff--Strum D,pick C, pick G and then back to D and the bass player said it sounded like Travelin Man,

The drummer says that KR's part is in a open tuning.

Thoughts on this?

I apologize if this has been covered, I didnt see it in a search
Thanks

I would say open tuning and a capo on the second fret...

This one?
Not sure about the open G (bad sound quality),but the second chord is descending in pitch,so I don't think a capo on the second fret.:

The song is in the key of A and the chords throughout are A, G and D. The guitar most prominent in the mix is Mick Taylor's which is tuned to standard. I never tried the other guitar part, which is buried in the background,

Thanks ChrisM. Playing that rhythm against the rhythm guitar in the background sounds about right.

This is a great song to jam too! Love it.
