"Love Train" by the Stones versus Rod Stewart

Rod Stewart was on "The View" in the US this morning performing "Love Train."
Ohmigod! Horrendous, and I generally like Rod.

Rushed to "You Tube" to watch Mick and the Boys do their version. As I knew I would, I will always prefer the O'Jays. I'd rate Rod a "D" and reluctantly offer the Stones a "B." Definitely was not Keith and Ronnie's finest hour.

I love 'Love train' at the Olympia. Great track to have on before you go out on a Saturday. It's the one Stones cover I've ever been truely shocked that they covered.

Yeah, the Ojay's laid that one down perfectly. The song is not really a guitar oriented one. Definitely a vocal lead and harmony based song. Youtube, here I come.
