It sounded like a 2020 Mick Jagger on vocals to me.

Listened to it several times and the chorus reminded me of something.
Tortured my brain and .... picked "Dancing In The Light" from "that other bonus CD".
The rhythm of Scarlet's chorus is uptempo in comparison with that of "Dancing", but .... ah well, who cares. We spoiled Stones fans have again fun discussing and enjoying (or not for some) another bit of homework from the guys

I quite like it. It has a Too many cooks-feeling to it.

The name "Scarlet" is a good name for a title of a song but they already had "Angie" and Angie had to stay because one could have guessed from the start that it was going to be a huge hit.

I also like it a lot and agree.. has a too many executive chefs feel, but in a really good way. Musically, it really captures the early seventies sound and vibe, and Mick's vocals are fantastic.

I like what Jimmy does on the solos; they are very melodic and rhythmically good counterpoints to the vocals.
