Apparently Don Was mentioned this again specifically last night during his presentation at the Grammy Museum. He described it as a "hit then, and a hit now". I'll ask next I see him why it didn't make the track list for Exile. Perhaps they discovered it was recorded after the time period, or they're saving it. Either way, we now know it didn't morph into one of the other tracks.

OK, so we get Scarlet, Criss Cross and Through The Lonely Nights on a GHS bonus, along with another disc of Live Europe 1973. Sounds like a keeper.

On 15 October 1974, Jimmy Page, Keith Richards, and Ian Stewart recorded an unreleased instrumental at Island Studios and named it "Scarlet', in her honour.
Born: Scarlet Lilith Eleida Page.
Is this related to the stones release ?

I think the fact that whoever uploaded it isn't allowing comments to be made tells you everything you need to know.
That plus the fact that it sounds nothing like the few seconds that were uploaded yesterday.
Pure clickbait

If Scarlet is October '74 then why is it a GHS track?
I know that Through The Lonely Nights's s on Rarities but they could have include that.
Then there's Alladin Story, Separately.
There's a Good isn't t there and Worried About You and at least one other from Tattoo You.
And others? Almost a whole second disc if you include alternative takes.
It's my favourite album, period. What concentrated crEtive energy
So the re- issue could have been a monster, or mother of all re-issues, especially with Brussels.
Not complaining, 'just saying's, but worth saying.
Drift Away and Scarlet for IORR. Don't know if that leaves much else. (Just don't know).
Btw, I thought that Travelling Man was earlier than '72.
But as it's so amazing they better release it somewhere, someday ....or else!
