Well ordianrily I wouldn't be drinking on a thursday. But today turned out to be a thirsty thu. So........After a very important business meeting that included cazadores and Coronas. I moseyed over to the dew drop in and had a little Cabo Wabo and a couple of tall Bud Light drafts. So I sauntered on home to have a few more BL's with a buddy while watching my beloved Sharks get back on the winning track....Other than that I ain't done much tonight, but thanks for asking.

So we have France, Sweden?, and U.S. represented in the last four posts. This is not coincidence. 651,000 filed for unemployment in the U.S. alone last month. I hate to say this but any job at this point is good. Although easier said than done. What I mean is that even those jobs are becoming competitive. I'm nearly 50 years old, and I have never seen America in such bad shape. Greed, a bad presidency, and unnecessary wars have practically wrecked the economy. And the Democrats are no better. I'm losing more confidence in the "new" system each day.

Good luck to all you guys looking for work. This is a brutal time to be doing it. I got very lucky and rebounded pretty quickly after I got layed off. Plus it's an all round better situation for me. Except for that my new coworkers are pretty serious drinkers. Like I need the help.......But cheers and happy friday everybody.

While in Hawaii a couple of weeks ago, I invented a new drink...and I'll share my secret here:

Wing Ding Cherry Sling

2 shots - Raspberry Vodka over ice
fill almost to top with Cranberry Juice
Then a little bit of carbonated pomegranite or raspberry soda (Hansens) to top it off.
Stir gently.


The secret is, there's NO cherry in it...but it tastes like there is.
Great on a hot day (or night)!
