I started a thread back in September about this exhibition, it opened last week and is well worth a visit if you are in town between now and 6th December. I am sure everyone is familiar with the 'classic' image of the band around the table at Sarum Chase enjoying their Beggars Banquet. This exhibition has several other photos from that shoot. It is impressive to see 6 full size (30 x 40 inch) pictures, each slightly different, all hanging together on the same wall. There is : 'Mick Feeding Goat', 'Stones Into Camera', 'Charlie Smoking', 'Brian Drinking', 'Bill Pouring Beer', 'Keith and Mandolin' ...... and several others.

There also some great shots taken on 'Day 2' of the shoot at Swarkestone in Derbyshire - including 'Stones on Ledge' which is on the Hot Rocks cover.




Don't think Charlie is much of a cricket fan.......

Wow, never knew they went all the way to Derbyshire for the outdoors shots. Is Michael Joseph selling prints and if so how much?

I have a spare UK Beggars Banquet Deccca Promo poster for trade....

I will definately be dropping in to the exhibition soon.

This is one of my favourite Stones'photos...

It always amazes me that after a life of collecting anything Stones, and being familiar with zillions of photos a shoots, that I still will bump into a whole new crop of excellent photos, that alone are worth the trip.

As they are all limited to 20 copies, the prices go up as each one sells. Most of the pictures are currently number 1 of 20.

They got to be joking at those prices. In the credit crunch too! £5500 plus VAT for a photo!

I wanted these two from JMP very badly to put it on a wall at my place but the price is 8000 euros (120/120 )each .
May be I could get along with the 60/60 12 limited copies ....only 3000 euros.

So fo a 20 limited copy you're talking about ,I am not that surprise with a 5500 £....

Brilliant!!! Im in London for the first time in a couple of weeks!! I look forward to checking this out - any other exhibitions on???
