Album version of Miss You Vs The 8 Min. Version

for me the some girls version of the song is weak compared to the extended dance version. it seems to drag and the sax ruins it. i much rather hear the long version because it has more guitar and wyman's bass sounds much better. i even like the 45 version better than the album mix. does anyone agree with me?

Me too. Love the break where it's just drums, a little Mac, then Wyman thumps in... WAY better than the LP version for SURE!

The long version is the definitive version, I replaced it on my iTunes to fit in with the Some Girls disc. Great version!

short one because... it's shorter (surprisingly). I'm a great fan of SG but this one isn't for me...

I love both - the 8:35 version shoulda been on "Sucking 76-80" along with "Harder They Come" (3 Stones ie KR, CW, & RW make it a Rolling Stones track), the live "Whip", the alt "Beast" from the 8-track, and of course "Everything [would have turned] To Gold" - voila!....Almost "Flowers" '81!...sort of.
