I wanted to drag my favourite album home with my own hands.
Pretty nostalgic,so what.

Therefore i didn´t order it online but tried to get it at the next town near
my village in the countryside of West Germany.

Impossible to get the super deluxe edition,just one shop selling dishwashers and coffee machines,etc as well got the "normal" Exile double CD version.

So I had to take my EXILE...a phone call and a twenty minutes drive accross the border
to the Netherlands,and

I GOT MY EXILE !

Didn´t know it´s numbered ( # 08218 ).
Looks fantastic,now later on I´ll take my time to listen and watch...

Hope you´re all getting your EXILE as well !

LOL,just wanted to describe the geographical side and not a somehow
labelled political one.

If I would live in let´s say South Germany,I wouldn´t have had a twenty minute
drive to this neighborhood country,but probably one far east...

Mine has been shipped, but it says rescheduled for delivery on the 18th....seems everyone can get it early except for me.

What's the sound like? - is it radically different as has been rumoured. I've heard they pushed Jagger's vocals to the front of the mix more.

I bought "exile" 2 hours ago near Dortmund. So we will have a "Stones"-weekend!!

Is it just me or does "Following The River" really sound like "Hang On To Me Tonight" from "Wandering Spirit" ??? BTW I love it. Already one of my favourites from the "new" songs.

I like hearing this news!!! I have wondered if this may be a song to add to the embarrased thread. I am hoping it will be good, but must admit the 30 second sample scared me. As "Hang On To Me Tonight" was one of my favorite songs on WS you have made me a bit happier in looking forward to this....

Well, tumblingdice, I know nothing about the embarrassed thread. Sounds rather negative to me, and I made a habit of only going into positive threads. I can only repeat what I said before. I love it and it reminds me of Hang on to me Tonight. I sure hope you won't be disappointed.

GOT IT. Drifting through the local Saturn store, at first I couldn't find it anywhere, neither in the "Rolling Stones" rack, nor in the "Bestsellers" section or among the special offers. Then, just as I turned to leave, I spotted a big Exile display, hidden behind a giant foursquare column. And now the bonus disc is playing... ahhh. No nitpicking today:-) Just having a few beers instead. Cheers!
