OT: WIllie Dixon "I Can't Be Satisfied"

Hey there

Last night I've been playing a lot of Stones' early boots, enjoying the blues covers they used to do and stuff.

And this song came through my speakers - "I Can't Be Satisfied".

Since I'm far from being a blues connoisseur, I thought it's about time to dig some original versions of these songs and pick me up a few good CDs.

The thing is... I'm having a hard time searching through amazon for a nice Willie Dixon anthology featuring this song!

Any blues expert in the house could point me out to the right CDs to go for? ... As a said, I'm still not that much into the genre so I'm not much interested in huge multi-disc boxed sets and stuff, but your average hits compilation or more basic stuff.

Thanks in advance!

Christ!

This is embarrassing! ... I've been thinking all my life it was a Dixon song!

See? ... I told you I was a blues ignorant. It's about time to go back to school and learn stuff like this and get me some music.

Thank you, Rockman!

There's also a nice version (with Johnny Winter on slide) on "Hard Again", the first of Muddy's "comeback" - i.e., post Chess - classic albums.

Just ordered this one:

It was quite cheap and featuring 50 songs covering (I believe) most of his career. Seemed a good choice at least for starters, wouldn't you say?

Thanks folks!

...Looks like school is in. Can't wait to get into it. Be sure I'll be back for another piece of advice soon.
