Picture and audio seem digitally well-scrubbed. Perhaps overly so.

the song is all over the place, everyone is playing something different, yet similar. it's a huge wall of sound, with taylor's sick slide work cutting through the noise...beautiful! quintessential stones. at any moment it sounds like the song could fall apart but of course it never would. charlie's good tonight 'innit he'!

I believe that clip will be on the dvd included with the deluxe set, but I'm not certain. It sounded that way. As for the full Ladies and Gents release it has been said for Fall 2010

Absolutely fantastic!

I haven't seen L&G for a while but to me this looked different. The shot of the upfront horn section looked new to me and I don't remember Mick running around like that during the song. Again, I haven;t seen the film lately so I might be wrong..

edit: crap, it's exactly the same footage.

Bill, Charlie and Keith - the engine room is in fine form here. Love the way Keith used to play that driving rhythm.

Rock and Roll?

That's Exhibit A.

It's hard to see at postage-stamp size, but I love the look on Mick's face on the shot at 3:24. There's no distance or posturing at all in this clip, he's just channeling the music through the entire song...and at that moment he's just so into it and it goes beyond performance into rock n' roll ecstasy.

I've been a blu-ray hold out...but for Ladies and Gents, I'm in!

You can click on the full screen option after it starts. Should be near the lower right corner of the player...

Yep, not so much different from the ADTL from the bootleg L&G's I already have (3). It's certainly one of the absolute highlights of the movie.

There's also "The Rolling Stones Ladies & Gentlemen 'long version' outtakes from 24-07-1972" NYC MSG, video (Happy and All down the line). A different version of ADTL of course, but also great.

WOW !!!!!

this is why they shouldn't tour - they'll never look or sound that good again, sure this clip probably has had some "sweetening" done to it but the sound from just Jim Price & Bobby Keys is fantastic. can't wait for the dvd release of l & g

I've been watching this L&G clip over and over (full screen, thank you!) and i think it, and I think it bears out what I said about the entire film in another thread:

I think it's one of the most brilliantly edited performance films of all time. The pace of the editing is always in sync to the mood/tempo of the songs. Even in faster songs where there are lots of cuts, they are practically seamless, unlike the hyperactive editing on done on videos of their recent tours.

Compare the clip on Amazon to this clip I found on youtube. It's footage shot for Ladies and Gents from another show, but not used in the final film. The cutting is so much slower on this version, and it doesn't have the same energy.

Makes you appreciate the Ladies and Gents version all that much more.

Well, you posted the video I mentioned in my own quote.
