Not only can the guy still play, and then some, but he must have a picture like Dorian Gray's. He looks almost as he did 40 years ago.

I love watching his bass player. She cracks me up but no denying it, she is a monster fusion player.

Yep, Beck's current line-up is the best band in da world hands down.

who's the drummer? I don't dig his playing.

Not the kind of "sitting on your ass and play like 40 years ago" 'I sell anyway'.. He improved yet he's timeless !!

There's some talk about Clapton and Beck doing a Madison Square Garden show. Maybe after Eric gets done with his Two-Thirds-Of-The-Living-Members Of Blind Faith Tour, we'll get a Two-Thirds-Of-The-Famous-Yardbirds-Guitarists Tour.

Just watched the DVD, amazing stuff, highly recommendable.

Yes, just bought the DVD today. Really great.

Beck is indeed the man,but people please dont compare his playing to the current Stones,I love all kinds of players.There are things he does and things Keith and Ronnie does,two kinds of music.I love it all.

They did play on the same bill at Clapton's guitarfest in
Chicago...would love to have a whole show with the two.

Jeff Beck is playing Irving Plaza (NYC) on April 9 & 10---him playing that venue is crazy, apart from him playing in your basement thats gonna be about as close as you're ever gonna get.

And I agree, the Ronnie Scotts DVD is freakin awesome--he seems to have lost nothing off his fastball and at 64 thats pretty darn impressive, not everyone gets to age so gracefully. I am glad he has declared his "techno" phoase "over"--see the current issue of Guitar World. He's right though, his current band is to good to be playing over loops and samples.
