Well the first song that got me was Carol but I suppose an original would have been Under My Thumb or Last Time. I can't seem to remember having Satisfaction making a huge impact on me....I'm struggling to remember as it was over 30 yrs ago.

for me it was "The Last Time'. it did it then, that intro, and still does. What a sound, what an intro. I love the cutting -ness of it, the dangerous sound of the whole song, like 'Gimme Shelter'

at that time, singles were the thing, and the Stones put out the best.

I think it was 1990, 1991 or earlier when I heard it for the first time on the radio. I was about 9 years old and the acoustic guitar hit me hard. I was so fascinated with this song since then. And later on the whole group.

I had heard Miss You and wasn't impressed, and have vague memories of Honky Tonk Women from the 'Great Hits' package flogged on Tee Vee in the early 70's, but She's So Cold did it.
Guitar was great, vocals great, and fantastic video.

about ten years ago i was 13 and saw a commercial with best of burden playing in the background. asked my dad who it was and went out bought some girls and listened to it 3 or 4 times that day and never looked back.

I remember as a 7 year old in 1968 my older brother singing 'Jumping Jack Flash' with gusto and enthusiasm and I thought to myself hmmmmm....

My dad playing Satisfaction over and over again when I was about 5 or 6 introduced me...but it was more in high school when i really started to dig Honkey Tonk Women and Brown Sugar that I really started to get into the Stones.

Tell Me was the 1st Stones song I heard in 1964. I was on my friend's porch listening to the radio. It hit me right away and I was hooked.

Rolled Gold when I was about age 12 in the early 1980s. My parents bought the LP which I made a tape copy of and listened to solid for months. I never liked any pop music in the 80s..nothing compared to the Stones.

Paint it, black...Then a friend lend me his Through the past darkly LP. Who would not get hooked with that?

"Out Of Focus" by Mick Jagger

was the tune that did it for me. My mom had talked to me about the Stones very favorably several times when we talked about rock music, but I didn't care about the old stuff she had, because it was, well, old, and I was a teenager at the time.
So when I came across "Wandering Spirit" inside a store, I had a listen.
And "Out Of Focus" was my choice for 1st single of the album right there and then.

The first riffs from Tumbling Dice. I had a 60 mins tape recorded only on one side, that means 30 mins. The last song was Tumbling Dice, intro riffs only. Then the tape was off before the vocals started. I was mad to find out how the song goes next

Tumbling Dice back in 1972. It took me as if something was exploding inside my stomach. It was everything, the song, the bands look, JaggerRichards behavior.
And still I have a very special feeling everytime I hear the studio version.
