My picks are Spain, Argentina or Brazil. One player England will probably meet Portugal in the quarters and crash out ingloriously on penalties. Lampard will miss.

I'd go with some of that Nik. Messi's been getting all the press recently (rightly so) but about another 8 or 9 Argentinians are approaching their peak. Similar with Holland. England will be strong but as we know tend to implode.
But yeah, the Boys from Brazil will always be there or there abouts even with Mr Dunga's slightly un-Brazil like style and an awkward group.
Never rule out Germany-Teutonic Efficiency!

I have been to 48 countries, and to Argentina 7 times. Through my friends there I have met many many people,and the passion they have for the Stones is unmatched. One guy I didn't know gave me a very long lecture about Thru and Thru....he was almost in tears with joy just sharing his story about this song. No kidding!

Keith is right. I have to say that the 2006 show that I caught in Argentina was absolutely unmatched with regards to it's crazy, energetic, enthusiastic crowd. I've never seen anything like it, and probably never will again unless the Stones play there again (in which case I'll be there).

It´s really a nice place. I just love Buenos Aires!

Hopefully one day I will be in Argentina. It is the home of many wonderful classical musicians (Barenboim,Piazzolla, Sol Gabetta...), most argentinians I met were great people, and the women are beautiful.
